I have a Pixie pass. I know I can’t visit the parks on weekends, but can I still park at TTC for free with my annual pass to explore the resorts along the monorail? Or would I have to pay for parking since technically I would be visiting on a blackout day?

    Hi Saran,

Welcome back to planDisney! I'm happy to hear your Annual Pass has been activated and you're already on your way to a year of magical adventures in the parks. The Disney Pixie Dust Pass is such a great value for Florida Residents and is made even more convenient with the option to purchase via monthly payments.

I came across some conflicting information when researching your inquiry so I reached out to a friendly Cast Member for some guidance. They shared that the official terms and conditions state that complimentary parking is not valid on a pass' blockout date so, unfortunately, I can't guarantee your plan to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center will go off without a hitch. They mentioned that you can inquire with a Cast Member in person but based on official policy you should be prepared to pay for standard parking when you arrive.

But not to worry, if you're hoping to shop or dine at one of the Monorail resorts I have another suggestion. Guests can typically get a guest pass for approximately 3 hours of standard self-parking while enjoying select recreation, dining, shopping, and entertainment experiences at the resorts. Again this is always up to Cast Member discretion at the entrance gate and availability may vary during busy holiday periods as my fellow panelist Jennifer mentions here. You may want to make an advance dining reservation at one of the resort restaurants just in case. This way you can enjoy a lovely meal before exploring the beautiful resorts. I find them to be extra magical during the holiday season and never miss an opportunity to inhale the intoxicating gingerbread and spice aroma in the lobby at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

One last tip- self-parking is complimentary in the surface lots and garages at Disney Springs if you're looking to do some shopping and soak up a little holiday cheer outside the parks. Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar is sure to make your spirits bright as you take in the holiday decor, and you'll likely be feeling very merry while admiring the 19-themed trees along the Christmas Tree Stroll.

I hope this helped Saran. If we can offer any additional recommendations please come back and see us again!

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
