Hi Alexandra! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to send us your question!
A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour at Disneyland Resort is a great way to experience the history of The Happiest Place on Earth during the
70th Anniversary Celebration! I looked at the details of this tour, and guests using a wheelchair must be able to transfer to a seat unassisted. I believe this is intended to mean that Cast Members are not available to assist. This would also apply to any attractions that are included in the tour that would not have accessibility, where a guest may remain in a wheelchair. You do get to experience some original attractions, such as the
Mark Twain Riverboat and the
Disneyland Railroad, and your dad would be able to remain in his wheelchair for those rides. There is a
Lightning Lane Entry included with your tour for a select attraction, but I'm unable to confirm which attraction that will be. In my experience with a similar tour, the attraction was
"it's a small world", and it could be experienced after the completion of the tour.
I hope this information helps with your planning. Before your arrival, be sure to check out the
2025 Halloween Guide on Disney Parks Blog to learn more about what you can look forward to during your visit. I also recommend
downloading the Disneyland Mobile App for quick and easy access to your Theme Park Tickets, attraction wait times, dining options, and more!
If you have more planning questions before you arrive, please send them to us at planDisney. We can't wait for you to be our guest, and we would love to help!
Wishing you magic,
Lisa
