Julie, a first visit? How exciting! I am also a mom of three, and I am so happy to answer your question. You'll be visiting during the summer, which tends to be a busier time at the Happiest Place on Earth. I recommend getting there as soon as the parks open for the day, as this is when the crowds are the lowest. It is a great time to take photos or jump in line for a must-do attraction. My family has Magic Keys, so we go to the parks quite often. We always aim to arrive at park opening (or "rope drop" as those in-the-know call it), and I can't tell you how much we get done in the first three hours. It is worth setting an alarm clock to get to the parks early! Check the Hours & Events Calendar online or in the Disneyland Mobile App to see the park hours for the day of your visit. Anaheim weather tends to be fairly mild, but it can get into the low 80s and 90s. My boys (ages 9 and 11) can usually do without jackets, though we always pack them in our backpack because nighttime temps dip into the 60s. There are locker rentals both inside and outside each of the theme parks. They are wonderful because you pay one price and have in-and-out access to them for the entire day. It's a great way to lighten the load while you're at the resort. Julie, since you've also got a little Mouseketter, use the Disneyland Mobile App to find attraction height requirements at both theme parks before your visit. There is an awesome filter feature that allows you to choose rides that are just the right size for your little one. To use it, click the pin drop icon (second from the left at the bottom) on the home screen. This opens the resort map, where you should select "Attractions" at the top. Then, use the filters right below for height, age, and more. The map will show you the rides that meet your needs!Rider Switch is a service that allows parents with little ones too young to ride certain attractions to wait once for a ride and then swap out so that each can ride the ride. You can read more about the service and how to use it on the Disneyland website. Another thing to note is that children 7 years old and older can ride attractions by themselves! So if you or your husband needs to opt out, your two older kids can ride together. My youngest just hit the 7-year-old mark last year and was thrilled at the opportunity!Julie, Disneyland trips for families of five are my specialty, and I could go on all day! If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask me any other questions. I would love to help you plan a most magical visit!See ya real soon!Melissa
