Bright Suns, Claire!
Thanks for transmitting your question to planDisney! As you prepare for your journey to
Batuu, I’d be honored to guide you. Think of me as your Jedi Master of Disney planning.
In response to your question, I consulted the sacred texts (a.k.a. the
Disneyland Park guidelines). According to the Code, guests 14 years of age or older may not wear costumes in the parks. But fear not, young Padawan, there is another way: DisneyBounding. This clever method lets you wear everyday clothing inspired by your favorite characters, like the fearless Ahsoka Tano, without violating park rules.
You could pair an Ahsoka-inspired cloak with neutral pieces to evoke her iconic look. Just be sure to steer clear of face paint or long capes that drag behind you like a Hutt’s tail. For more wisdom, the Disney Parks Blog has excellent guidance on
Star Wars Bounding, helping you stay both in-theme and within the rules. As always, defer to the wisdom of the local guides (a.k.a. Cast Members) when entering the park; They have the final say on what’s permitted.
Now, let’s talk about your mission objectives. If you're hoping to encounter Ahsoka Tano herself, your best bet is to explore the Black Spire Outpost Marketplace. She’s often spotted patrolling the area, or teaming up with our favorite Mandalorian. To track her movements, open the Disneyland app, tap the map icon, and scroll to the Characters tab at the top. I recommend switching to list view (bottom-right corner) to easily scan for appearances. Her final patrol of the day typically occurs around 5:45 p.m. Remember, like all things in the galaxy, times are subject to change.
Claire, I hope this transmission helps you prepare for your galactic adventure! Should you have more questions or need help navigating hyperspace, feel free to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’re always ready to lend a helping hand (cybernetic or otherwise) and sprinkle a little extra stardust on your plans.
May the Force be with you, always.
