We’re planning to visit Disneyland on May 19-20 and tried to reserve Fantasmic Dining package. But it seems it’s unavailable to reserve on weekdays. So I’d like to ask you how the seats are going on weekdays. Aren’t there any reserved seats on weekdays?

Welcome to planDisney, Lena! Fantasmic! is a favorite in my house as well. The scene where Peter Pan and Wendy take on Captain Hook and his crew is always a must-see for us! I completely understand wanting to make it a priority during your visit.

I checked the Fantasmic! Dining Package availability on the Disneyland website for your travel dates, and good news: reservations are open for two of the three current options. Unfortunately, the River Belle Terrace – Premium Dining Package, which includes the option to enjoy the show from a seated patio area along the walkway across from the Rivers of America, is not available at the moment. But don’t worry, there are still great alternatives!

The other Fantasmic! dining packages include reserved viewing areas, though they’re seated on the walkway along the Rivers of America, and are available at Rancho del Zocalo and River Belle Terrace (in its regular, more flexible dining package). Each package comes with a three-course meal and a voucher for a reserved viewing area for either the first or second performance of the evening.

Rancho del Zocalo offers both lunch and dinner, with reservations for lunch beginning at 11:00 AM and dinner starting at 3:30 PM. There’s something extra special about savoring a plate of flavorful Mexican-Korean fusion cuisine before heading over to see Mickey battle the forces of darkness!

River Belle Terrace provides brunch and dinner options, making it a great fit if you'd like an earlier or more relaxed meal. Brunch begins at 10:00 AM and dinner is available starting at 3:00 PM. And let’s be honest: Disneyland days run on snacks and well-timed meals!

A Q-Tip: Arrive about an hour before showtime to claim your preferred spot in the reserved viewing area. Sitting close to the water adds an extra splash (literally) to the experience! And if you’re attending the first performance of Fantasmic!, stick around afterward: your spot will put you in prime position to enjoy the nighttime spectacular with fireworks on select nights. It’s a practically perfect way to cap off your Disneyland day.

Lena, I hope this helps you pick the Fantasmic! dining package that’s just right for you. We’re always delighted to help you plan your Disneyland adventures. Please reach out again anytime!

    Let your imagination soar!
