Amy from PA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Can you please provide me with the themed nights for Disney Dream Cruise 7/5 to 7/10?

Ahoy matey! Thank you for cruising by planDisney. I'm so excited to answer your question, Amy, and am thrilled you have an upcoming adventure on the Disney Dream! My family had the most magical five nights on the Disney Magic and the nightly themes certainly added an extra layer of fun, for sure! My boys are still talking about it!

I can understand why you'd be curious to find out about the nightly themes happening on your sailing, Amy. I'm always eager to know all the details so I can start dreaming and, let's be honest, plan my outfits.

While much of the onboard activities are kept a surprise until that magical moment you step onboard, Guests on the Disney Dream for the 5-Night Western Caribbean Cruise can usually expect an optional dress-up night and a Pirate Night during their 5-night sailing. For your particular itinerary, Amy, I confirmed that Pirate Night is scheduled on the second night, and the optional dress-up night is scheduled on the fourth night of your 5-night sailing.

My family loves Pirate Night which includes a "Pirates in the Caribbean" Deck Party, Disney pals in their garb, a delicious Pirate-y themed bounty for dinner, and more swashbuckling fun. Our oldest son, who is usually quite reserved, danced his heart out to close down the "Pirates in the Caribbean" Deck Party and insisted we watch Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl under the stars on Funnel Vision (huge movie screen on the pool deck), even though it was way past all of our bedtimes!

Buccaneers are encouraged to dress up in their finest pirate-wear on Pirate Night. Our Stateroom Host provided us with bandanas and eye patches, which was very much appreciated. We had ordered matching pirate-themed shirts for our group beforehand, but some Guests go all out! I'm thinking for next time I might just do a black and white striped shirt and call it a day! Do what feels most comfortable for you and yours!

Be sure to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once onboard the ship to confirm which night Pirate Night and the optional dress-up night will be, as well as learn about all the entertainment and activities available. You won't miss a thing, I promise. Just add a little "heart" next to anything that catches your eye, and it will automatically be added to your own Personal Navigator.

Have the most magical voyage, Amy! If you have any other questions as you're planning, please come visit us again anytime.

Yo ho, Yo ho - it's Pirate Night for me! ARRR!

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
