planDisney! It will be an extra special sailing since you'll be celebrating your husband's birthday while onboard. I've been lucky enough to be on a Disney Cruise twice on my birthday, and it didn't disappoint. If you haven't already, be sure to note his special day on your cruise reservation under "Special Requests." You'll see a spot for where "Celebrations" can be added. This can be found under "Already Booked," then select "My Reservations" on the
Disney Cruise Line website. Another spot you can add this information is on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, just under your magical countdown. If you don't have time to do it before you set sail this weekend, just let your dining team know what day you'd like to celebrate onboard.
The Refillable Beer Mug is available to purchase onboard, so there's no need to ruin the surprise by buying ahead of time. Upon embarkation, just find a member of the bar service team to complete your purchase. They will be out and about during lunch and on the pool decks. When your husband is ready for a drink during your sailing, he'll receive a 21-ounce beer for the price of 16 ounces plus the included 18% gratuity. If he wants a new mug each time, he will ask the bar staff for a token, which he can exchange for his next one. Once he drinks the final beer, he can have a bar team member give him a fresh mug to take home. It will be a great souvenir of his birthday cruise aboard Disney Cruise Line.
