Welcome to planDisney, Maggie!
We are so happy to hear from you, and hope that you are getting excited for your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth next year! It’s going to be here before you know it! Be sure to watch the
Disney Parks Blog as you near your trip so you can stay up-to-date on all of the happenings!
Festival of the Arts will be in full-swing when you arrive — so make sure to spend a day or two at EPCOT!
It is completely possible for an 8 and 10-year-old to walk the theme parks, Maggie! I recently traveled with my 5 nieces (ages 5, 7, 9, 11, and 12-years-old) and we only needed a stroller for the 5-year-old. While the 7-year-old was dragging a little by the end of our days, she was so full of Disney Magic (and sugar from churros) that we did not feel she needed a stroller. Now, every child is different, so trust your gut, but I would say that your kiddos should be fine! If that changes, know that you can always
rent a single or double stroller at any of the theme parks easily.
I hope you have a marvelous trip, Maggie! Sending you lots of warmth and magic this holiday season! If you have additional questions, please visit us again soon!
