Rebecca Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hi! Can you purchase 1 day tickets to the parks? I’d like to see magic kingdom, animal kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood studios but magic kingdom and Epcot I would do in 1 day if possible. What’s the best way to do this please?

Hey there, Rebecca, and greetings from across the pond! Thanks for popping by planDisney with your question.

One of my favorite things about Walt Disney World is the way each park feels like its own unique adventure. Depending on which park you choose, you could find yourself meeting with princesses in a fairytale village, enjoying a crisp beer in a German Platz, or strolling down Hollywood Boulevard like the star you were meant to be. You may even wind up on a wild safari, surrounded by the savanna's most magnificent beasts!

Disney World is absolutely FULL of exciting, immersive experiences. The only "problem" is figuring out how to conquer them all! Rebecca, the truth is that you probably won't get to see and do everything in just one visit (all the more reason to return!). But planning your days ahead of time can help you make the most of the magic. I'm more than happy to help you maximize your time, so let's take a look at your ticket options.

Rebecca, you may already know that our friends from the UK can purchase a 7-Day or a 14-Day Magic Ticket in advance through the Disney World website. These tickets include the ability to visit multiple parks in one day (known here in the States as "park-hopping").

However, if you'd like to purchase multi-day, one-park-a-day tickets, you may do so online once you're here in the United States, or at the park gate upon arrival, based on availability. You can also purchase a single-day Park Hopper ticket this way, which would allow you to visit two (or more) parks in one day. If you'd like to mix and match your ticket types, you'll need to do so in two separate transactions.

Now, I should also point out that it's generally less expensive to purchase a 7-Day Magic Ticket (which includes multiple parks per day) than it is to purchase standard one-park-a-day tickets here in the US. I can't be sure since I don't know your full itinerary, but a quick price comparison based on your arrival date confirms my suspicions: your cash will probably go a bit further with a Magic Ticket. I'm all about stretching my budget (and my time in Disney World!), so to me, this seems like your best option.

Bonus Tip: I see that you're hoping to visit both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Park in a single day. While this is totally doable if you're only hoping to hit the highlights, I'd recommend spending a full day in each park, if possible. If you do decide to purchase a Magic Ticket, you should have plenty of time to explore them both!

I hope this information is helpful, Rebecca, and that your upcoming visit to Disney World is full of magic and adventure! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find us right here at planDisney!

    See ya real soon,

    Allison
