Hello, Maria!
Welcome to planDisney. It looks like you might be visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth this week, and if so, I'm happy to help with those last-minute details. Let's jump in so you're ready to "say cheese" as soon as you arrive.
Purchasing
Memory Maker is a fantastic way to document your vacation and relive all those magical memories again back home. I use it on every visit and love seeing how my kids grow and change from one year's photo in front of Cinderella Castle to another. Our vacation photos are always my favorite souvenir, so I'm excited you're considering purchasing them for your own visit.
You'll be glad to know that Memory Maker will include photos captured within 30 days of activation, unless you opt for Memory Maker One Day, which includes all your Disney PhotoPass media from 6 am EST on the date of activation through 5:59 am EST the following day. If you wait to
view your photos in your My Disney Experience app before purchasing, you'll notice watermarks across your images until your purchase is completed and activated. Once that's done, you can pose for photos, then
download and share them to your heart's content until they expire 45 days after the date of capture.
You'll be able to
easily spot Disney PhotoPass photographers in their lime green shirts all over the parks, but you can also use the My Disney Experience app to search for them. Click the location icon on the app (second from left at the bottom of the screen), choose your current location using the drop-down filter, then swipe right on the top of the screen to choose "PhotoPass." You'll see photo locations on the map, or you can sort by an alphabetical list if you prefer.
I hope this helped, Maria. If you have additional questions, please come back and see us, or stop and chat with a member of the Guest Experience Team in the parks for real-time technical assistance.
Wishing you a magical vacation!
Amy
