Welcome to planDisney, Alexis! While every day is magical at the Walt Disney World Resort, celebrating the spirit of America on the
Fourth of July promises to bring together the magic of freedom, fantasy, and fireworks with some extra special holiday offerings! Let's dive into all the magical details to help you plan your visit!
Alexis, all of the Fourth of July events scheduled at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom Park are included with your
standard theme park admission, so you don't need to buy a separate event ticket to spend the day at either park. If you're hoping to visit both parks on the Fourth of July, be sure that you add the
Park Hopper Option to your theme park admission so you can hop from one to the other!
As you explore the holiday offerings, here are a few of the highlights at each park to help you plan:
- Magic Kingdom will offer special holiday fireworks, Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky at 9:20 PM on both July 3 and July 4 this year, while EPCOT will host Heartbeat of Freedom, a holiday fireworks finale following Luminous A Symphony of Us on July 4 at 9:15 PM only on July 4.
- EPCOT will also illuminate Spaceship Earth with red, white, and blue lights on July 4 and offer character greetings with some fan favorites dressed for the holiday!
- Magic Kingdom will have pop-up dance parties and DJ booths in front of Cinderella Castle and also in Frontierland and Tomorrowland following the fireworks show on July 3 and July 4.
- Specialty snacks and PhotoPass magic shots will be available at all the theme parks and also in Disney Springs, so be sure to keep an eye out for some tempting treats and patriotic picture opportunities!
Alexis, I hope this helps, and I hope you have a magical time celebrating America at the Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any other questions before your visit, come see us again at
planDisney; we're always happy to help!
See you real soon,
Alison
