    Can I purchase tickets online?

    Hiya Pal!

Welcome to planDisney!  A visit to Walt Disney World Resort this time of year is practically perfect in every way!  Since you’re hoping to start your jolly holiday tomorrow, let’s waste no time helping you purchase theme park tickets.

You’ll be happy to know that tickets are available to purchase online - either through the Walt Disney World Resort website or your My Disney Experience Mobile App.  Before starting your purchase, make sure to log into (or create) your MyDisney account so your tickets will be easily saved to your profile.  You’ll also find that you have many choices when it comes to options with your tickets.  Whether you're looking for a single-day admission to one of the four theme parks, a multi-day, multi-park ticket with a park hopping option, or anything in between, you can easily view pricing and availability when purchasing.  If you’re purchasing on the app, you can click the three lines in the bottom right corner, then select “My Tickets and Passes,” and click the “+” sign to purchase new tickets.

After your theme park tickets have been purchased and you’re ready to head to the parks, you can use one of three entry methods.  I really like the convenience of MagicBand+ in the parks, as I can simply tap my wrist to enter the parks, redeem Lightning Lane passes, make purchases, and much more.  If you don’t have a MagicBand+, you could choose to use Disney MagicMobile Service, which creates a pass that lives in the digital wallet on your device.  You can then use your device in much of the same way you would a MagicBand+.  Physical plastic cards are also available from Cast Members at Guest Relations if you prefer to use those as your tickets.

The parks are full of so much festive fun right now that I’d encourage you to check out all that is offered and pay close attention to the Hours & Events Calendar, as there are many changes to what you may typically see in the parks.  With all of this holiday excitement, you’re also likely to see many other Guests also visiting the parks, so I also suggest checking out options like Lightning Lane passes, Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering, and Merchandise Mobile Checkout to help minimize your time waiting in lines and maximize your fun in the parks!

I ho-ho-hope this information has been helpful and that you enjoy a very merry visit to Walt Disney World Resort this week!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!

    Happy Holidays!
