If I purchase tickets via my employer discount page, then link them to my reservation, can the date be changed if we need to change our trip dates?

    Hi Shelley, welcome to planDisney!

Being able to purchase Walt Disney World tickets through your employer sounds like a great perk. I imagine my coworkers would hear me humming “Heigh-ho,” or even “Whistle While You Work” if I had a Disney vacation in my future!

You may be able to change the date of your theme park tickets in your MyDisney account. On the Walt Disney World website, visit “My Plans” and scroll down to “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets.” Click on the “Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker” tab, and find the tickets you’d like to change. There should be an option to “Change Ticket.” If the price of the new date is higher than the original ticket date, you will be required to pay the price difference. No refund will be given if the new price is lower than the original cost.

Since I don’t know exactly what ticket type is offered by your employer, I recommend visiting the employee benefits page and reading any fine print. You can also call a Cast Member for assistance, as they will be able to view any tickets linked to your account.

I hope this sends you in the right direction, Shelley. Next, you need to check if your employer offers any Resort discounts! If you have any more questions as you continue planning your next Disney vacation, please send them to us at planDisney!
