Welcome back to planDisney, Carla! I'm pleased to hear you're planning another trip to Walt Disney World Resort next year.
Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom is one of the best events I've ever attended, and some of my favorite hours I've ever spent inside one of the parks. This event is a little different than just a regular day at
Magic Kingdom, and I'm happy to give you an idea of what you can expect when you're there in February.
During Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom, most Quick-Service locations close once regular park hours end, but a handful typically remain open for at least part of the event. Because After Hours is a limited-capacity experience focused on attractions with minimal waits and lots of included snacks, food and beverage offerings are scaled back compared to daytime.
We don't yet have the exact dining lineup for February 2026, and it can vary from night to night, but based on past patterns, we can expect locations
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café, and
Main Street Bakery to be available for at least some time during the event. That said, it's always subject to change, and locations like
Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café or
Cheshire Café may or may not be open on a given night. The best move is to check the
My Disney Experience app right when the event begins; it will list which Quick-Service spots are actually operating and their hours for that night.
The real star of After Hours, though, is the included snacks! You'll find popcorn, ice cream novelties, and select bottled beverages available at multiple carts and stands throughout the park. With treats included, my personal game plan is to eat dinner before park closing, finish up before the day guests exit, and spend After Hours snacking and riding. That way, you maximize ride time with short waits and still enjoy plenty of goodies as you go.
Have a magical day, Carla!
