I have the quick service dining plan so when I use a quick service credit can I substitute the drink for something else as I have the refillable mug that I can use at the quick service dining locations at the resorts?

Bonjour, Pat! It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that I welcome you back to planDisney.

If you're anything like me, you know that one of the most important parts of a Walt Disney World vacation (or any vacation, for that matter) is the food. It's a big part of the fun! And since you've added the Quick-Service Dining Plan to your upcoming magical adventure, it sounds like your planning is off to a practically perfect start. Now, let's tie up your loose planning ends so you can sit back, relax and start your countdown to the magic!

No substitutions are allowed on the Dining Plan, so unfortunately, you won't be able to substitute your drink for another food item. But c'est la vie, mon ami! I have some ideas to maximize your magic and the value of the Dining Plan.

First, remember that your Resort-Refillable mug can only be refilled at the Resorts. So, when you're dining at the theme parks, you'll likely be happy that you get a drink included with your meals. But even when you're dining at the Resort with your refillable mug filled to the tippy top, you can always use your dining credit to order an alcoholic beverage, as long as you are over 21 years of age. That's right! Alcoholic beverages are included with your meal (as your drink choice) if you're of age! If alcoholic beverages aren't your thing, I recommend ordering a bottle of water with your Quick-Service meals. You'll find that these extra water bottles are great to keep in your room's beverage cooler for nighttime thirst or to bring to the theme parks with you. Staying hydrated is the key to staying cool in the Florida heat!

While this may not have been the answer you were hoping for, Pat, I hope it was helpful. I'm wishing you a magical and memorable vacation, full of food and fun! Stop by any time with any questions you may have. Put our service to the test!
