how do i remove a guest

Hi Bert! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for bringing us your question! Plans shift all the time when it comes to Walt Disney World vacations, and it's completely normal to need to adjust the number of Guests on your reservation. The great news is that you can absolutely do that!

To remove a Guest from an existing Walt Disney World vacation package, you'll want to start by logging into your My Disney Experience account on the Walt Disney World website. Once you're signed in, hover over the My Disney Experience tab and select “My Plans and Tickets.” From there, scroll until you find the reservation you want to update. You should see an option that says “Modify Reservation.” Go ahead and click on that.

Inside the modification screen, you'll see several sections you can adjust, like room type, travel dates, and, most importantly for your question, your Guest list. When you locate the section that lists everyone currently on the reservation, you'll have the option to remove the person who will no longer be traveling. After updating your party size, continue through the modification steps.

If removing a Guest affects the price of your vacation package, you'll see those updates reflected before you confirm anything. You'll always be shown your new total before finalizing the change, so you'll know exactly what the adjustment means for your reservation.

One quick note: if the Guest you want to remove has already been assigned theme park tickets or linked plans, you may need to resolve those items before the system allows you to make changes. If that happens, or if the website doesn't give you the option you need, a friendly Cast Member on the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line will be more than happy to assist you.

Bert, I hope this helps you smooth out your plans so you can focus on the fun parts of your upcoming trip. If you ever need help deciding what to do next or how to get the most out of your vacation, we're always here to help!

    Warm hugs,
