Hi there Rokaisha. Welcome to planDisney.
Oh my goodness, your Disney vacation is just around the river bend! That's exciting news! Soon you'll be taking a picture in front of
Cinderella Castle, waving to
Mickey Mouse, and maybe enjoying a delicious Mickey-shaped ice cream bar! I'm happy you've visited us here at planDisney, so I can help guide you to the answer you are looking for.
During my most recent visit with my mom, we needed to rent an
ECV scooter due to her recent foot injury. I'm happy to report that the rental process was very easy. You can rent these scooters at the front of each theme park, but they cannot be reserved in advance. They are rented on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, be aware that these scooters must remain within the theme park and cannot be taken off the property.
I'm happy to share that when my mother rented her ECV (electric convenience vehicle), she received a name tag placed at the front of her scooter, which helped us identify it easily. We also added a red ribbon to the front, making it even simpler to locate our scooter quickly. Feel free to tie a ribbon to the handle of your ECV as well! I've also seen people get creative by making little signs to attach to the front for identification. If you want to have some fun, I've seen people add little tags saying, "My own personal Doom Buggy," a Cars-themed "Ka-Chow, tag, or even a Star Wars sign intended for other Guests that reads, "This isn't the ECV you're looking for."
Rokaisha, regardless of whether you only use the identification tag that comes with your rental or you want to add a little pizzazz to help your ECV stand out, you should have no issues identifying which vehicle belongs to you.
I hope you'll have a fabulous vacation and you'll have the opportunity to see
Disney Starlight, the new nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom. I'm seeing it for the first time myself this weekend, and I'm SO excited! Please let us know if we can help with any other questions.
Enjoy the magic,
Shonette
