Hello how can I make a reservation for my child who does not have Disney account

Hello Wu! Welcome to planDisney! I can see your visit to the Disneyland Resort is almost here, and I’m happy to help you prepare for your upcoming adventure.

As you may know, every Guest ages 3 and older needs both a theme park admission ticket and a theme park reservation to visit either Disneyland or Disney California Adventure. However, only Guests ages 13 and older may create a MyDisney account. To make a park reservation for a child (or anyone who doesn’t have their own MyDisney account), simply purchase a ticket for your desired visit date through your own account. During the checkout process, you'll be prompted to select which park you’d like to visit. After completing the purchase, you’ll be able to assign a name to each ticket. This is where you can enter the child’s name. They won’t need their own account; their ticket will be managed directly through yours.

Wu, if you’ve already completed these steps, there are a couple of easy ways to verify that your tickets are linked properly to your account. First, visit the Disneyland website and log into your MyDisney account using the “My Disneyland” menu. If you purchased your tickets directly from Disney while logged in, they should appear automatically on your account page. If your tickets were purchased from an authorized third-party seller, you’ll need to enter the ticket barcode manually to link them.

Alternatively, the Disneyland app is a great tool to manage tickets on the go. Once you’ve downloaded the app, tap the hamburger icon (three horizontal lines) in the bottom-right corner, then select “My Tickets & Passes.” From there, tap the plus icon in the top-right corner to “Link Tickets & Passes.” You can either enter the ticket barcode manually or use your phone’s camera to scan it. Once your tickets are linked, you’ll be ready to enjoy all the magic that awaits at both parks!

Wu, I hope your visit is filled with unforgettable memories, churro breaks, and magical moments around every corner. If you have any additional questions as your trip approaches, feel free to visit us again at planDisney.

Wishing you a truly magical stay,

    David
