Happy Early Holidays, Sarah. Welcome to planDisney.
You are speaking my language - planning a
delicious Thanksgiving meal you don't have to cook! My husband is British, so between Boxing Day and Thanksgiving, I find a way to catch at least one break!
As a result, over the years, when I've not been the head chef, we drive to Disney for our
Thanksgiving meal. We've had tapas at Jaleo, fried chicken at Homecomin', and indulged in the bread service at Sanaa. But our favorite restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner is
Paddlefish. Besides their incredible seafood offerings, their bone-in ribeye is one of the best things I've ever eaten! We still reminisce about our late afternoon Thanksgiving meal on their top deck.
If you are staying at one of the
Disney Resort Hotels, you can make
advance dining reservations 60 days before your arrival date for your entire stay (up to 10 days). I love this perk because you can plan all of your dining in one go rather than checking back day after day. If you aren't staying on the property, you can book your dinner 60 days before Thanksgiving.
One of my favorite things about Thanksgiving at Disney is that the
holiday decorations are already up! Make sure to
stroll through the tree display after your dinner, and sometime during your stay, do a holiday Resort stroll. The way the different resorts decorate for
the holidays is absolutely magical. I wish you a holiday full of cheer!
