I'm so glad you planned ahead and checked the
hours & events calendar since tomorrow is a bit different than a usual weekend due to the
runDisney Disneyland Half Marathon. I talked to a helpful Cast Member, and the
Downtown Disney District opens at 8:00 AM (hours are subject to change).
I always recommend getting to the security checkpoint at least 30 minutes before the scheduled open time to get in line. We usually bring a portable breakfast with us to help pass the time! She could not 100% confirm if you would be allowed in 30 minutes early for "rope drop" but was hopeful that the gates may open a bit before the scheduled park opening time. I'm hoping you're able to stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. and maybe even grab a magical cup of coffee!
I hope you're able to enjoy all of the magic and happiness of the
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration during your visit! The
Paint the Night parade is back, and is one of my favorite parades of all time! You can check the
entertainment schedule for when it will make its way through Disneyland Park, and I think you'll find it hard to not sing along with the soundtrack!
