Ahoy there, Nicholas. Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for taking the time to sail by with your questions for us.
I’m delighted to see you’re planning a Disney cruise with extended family soon. It’s more fun traveling with a big group but sometimes, coordinating logistics for everyone can be overwhelming!
I see you’re interested in making dining reservations (at adults-only venues) with other family members staying in separate staterooms. You’re most definitely able to do this but you’ll first need to link your reservation with others in your travel party. This brief process can be done on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App or the
Disney Cruise Line website. You’ll just need the reservation number, last name and birth date of one of the Guests in the stateroom you’re wishing to link.
Let me walk you through this process on the Disney Cruise Line website. Hover your cursor over "Already Booked" in the top right-hand corner and select "My Reservations." Once you log in to your account, you’ll see your cruise information and click the down arrow in the box with your reservation number. Click "+ Add and Link Reservations." You can also go through a similar process to link your reservations on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. If you have multiple staterooms to link, just simply repeat the steps. Voila! Once your travel party is all linked, you can make dining reservations when your booking window for onboard activities opens up. You’ll be able to click on the names of family members who will be joining you when making the reservation.
Also, by linking all your reservations together, you’ll be assigned the same table during dinner in the main dining rooms. It’s nice to reconvene and share stories at dinnertime with the entire gang after a fun-filled day of activities.
I hope this information is helpful for you as you continue to plan a magical sailing with your family. If you have more questions for us, please don’t hesitate to stop by
planDisney again.
Hope to SEA ya real soon,
Kiki
