Hi Sarah,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with another great question! Your trip to Disney World is nearly here, so let's hop to it.
When bringing a stroller to the theme parks, there are a few
restrictions that are important to know. In order to reduce congestion and ease the flow of Guests, strollers should not be more than 31" wide and 52" long (measurements are taken at the widest and longest points). Strollers wagons are not permitted unless the rider requires medical accommodations.
If your stroller doesn't fit these requirements or you'd rather not bring one from home, there are single and double strollers available to rent at all theme parks and at
Disney Springs. Rates are per day, or a multi-day option can save a few dollars when you pre-pay for the length of stay. My kids liked being able to hop in the stroller when they needed a break or when the walkways were too crowded. They are also great for stowing away snacks and water bottles.
Tip: Bring a piece of ribbon or fabric to tie to the handle of your stroller so you can quickly identify your stroller in a parking area. The stroller parking areas can get quite congested, so being able to spot our stroller fast made a big difference.
A stroller can be a total game-changer during long Disney days, so I’m glad you’re thinking ahead. If you have more planning questions, we’re always happy to help here at
planDisney!
See ya real soon,
Candace
