Can you ride a ride with an infant?

Hey there, hi there, Athena! Welcome to planDisney. We are thrilled to have you stop by with a question for us.

I love to hear that your newest Mouseketeer is about to experience their first visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! Be sure to stop by City Hall or ask a Cast Member in one of the shops for a complimentary first visit button to keep for the memory books. I am happy to share that there are so many attractions that you will be able to enjoy with your infant. If you head to the Disneyland website or Disneyland app, you will be able to filter attractions with no height requirement. During boarding, most will just require you to remove them from any carrier and have them in your lap. A Cast Member will instruct you at boarding. Should you want to enjoy some of the thrill rides or attractions with height requirements, be sure to look into Rider Switch for you and the rest of your party.

While you are enjoying your visit in the parks, I want to make sure that you are aware of the Baby Care Centers. Both parks have a center for you to visit and have nursing rooms, changing tables, kitchens with sinks and bottle warmers, and vending machines with essentials if you forgot something or run out. These centers are such a welcome service to young families and can also be a welcome break from the bustling park.

Athena, thanks so much for dropping by! I hope your visit is full of magic and wonder!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
