What rides will be closed in November 2025

Greetings, Richard, and welcome to planDisney! November is a great time to visit the Disneyland Resort. Hints of the holidays start to appear early in the month, ahead of the start of the season, which will be on November 14 this year.

Richard, it's a little early to know which attractions will be closed for refurbishment in November. Generally, that information is added to the Disneyland website and mobile app up to six weeks in advance on a rolling basis. I suggest checking the Hours & Events Calendar at the start of October to see the details for your mid-November trip. Make sure to use the "Day View" to see the list of scheduled refurbishments.

Might you still be at the Resort on November 14, Richard? As I mentioned earlier, that's the start of the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. Each evening, Sleeping Beauty Castle will sparkle with thousands of twinkling lights, and the parks will be filled with festive food, special merchandise, and jolly entertainment that brings the season to life. For an extra dose of holiday cheer, both Storytellers Cafe and Goofy’s Kitchen will offer holiday-themed Character Dining experiences. Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast seems particularly fun! Reservations are typically available up to 60 days out, so start checking in mid-September if that is something you're interested in.

If you will not be at the Resort when the holiday season officially kicks off, there will still be plenty to enjoy. You will likely see some seasonal merchandise available, and Haunted Mansion Holiday should be welcoming Guests (since it materializes at the start of Halloween Time). World of Color Happiness! and Tapestry of Happiness are also expected to continue this time of year. Once the Hours & Events Calendar is updated, you'll be able to get details for entertainment.

I have one more tip, Richard. If attractions are high on your list for this visit, you might want to consider getting the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, which grants access to the Lightning Lane entrances at a number of attractions. These entrances lead to shorter lines, helping you fit more magic into your day. With this pass, you'd select return times for participating attractions using the Disneyland mobile app. There are other benefits to this pass, too, like unlimited digital downloads of PhotoPass photos.

I hope you have the most magical time during your November visit to the Disneyland Resort, Richard. If you have any questions, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney.
