Hey there, hi there, Marci! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney.
The countdown is on! In just a few weeks, you'll embark on your magical adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Woohoo! And since you're staying at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, your planning is off to a practically perfect start. With its fantastic rooms, oh-so-fun pool area and some of the best dining options in all of Walt Disney World, this Resort is the perfect, pixie-dusted home away from home.
One of the things I love so much about Coronado Springs (besides the Three Caballeros theming) is the spaciousness of the rooms, and I don't think you'll have any trouble fitting your mobility scooter in your room. If you stay in one of the Village rooms, you should have a small sitting area with a chair near the entryway. If you push the chair over a bit or move the chair by the mirror near the bathroom, you should have plenty of room for your scooter in this sitting area. If you're staying in the Gran Destino Tower, there is usually a little nook in the entryway that can fit luggage, a stroller or a scooter.
In my experience, sometimes, the room configurations can differ slightly. So, if you are having difficulty comfortably fitting your scooter in your room, I recommend reaching out to a Cast Member at the front desk at the Resort. They will be more than happy to give you some solutions on how to store your scooter.
Marci, don't forget to charge your scooter overnight! The great news is that you'll find plenty of outlets in your room for easy charging. Also, be sure to check out the
Services for Guests with Mobility Needs page on the Walt Disney World website. It is full of super helpful information on parking, using the Disney transportation, attractions, and more.
I hope this helps, Marci, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable time! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you have. Like the Three Caballeros, we are birds of a feather!
We have the stars to guide us,
Mandy
