Welcome, Rory!
We're so happy to have you here at planDisney. You must be getting so excited for your visit next week! I can imagine you are eager to get your Disneyland ducks in a row, and that includes ensuring that your theme park ticket and theme park reservation are locked in so you can just sit back and enjoy the pixie-dusted anticipation of your visit. Let's take a look!
When you purchase a
theme park ticket on the Disneyland website, you are asked to choose a day and a theme park, which generates a
theme park reservation for you as part of the checkout process. I know it can sometimes sound like making a theme park reservation is an extra step, but it's likely that you've already done it! We can easily double-check in the Disneyland app or on the website itself. If you are on the site, log in to your account and hover over the "My Disneyland" tab along the top navigation bar and select "
Ticket and Reservation Details". On the next page, tap the "Make or Modify Reservations" button and scroll down to see any existing reservations. If you are in the
Disneyland app, you would simply tap the "+" in the bottom navigation bar and select "Make a Park Reservation" to arrive at the same page. I'm hoping your plans are listed here for you, and you are good to go for next week!
If not, no worries, you can simply tap the "Book Theme Park Reservation" button and proceed to make your reservation for next week. If for some reason your tickets are not linked to your account, return to the "My Disneyland" tab and select "Link Tickets and Passes" and follow the instructions from there. Similarly, on the app, tap the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner and select "My Tickets and Passes" to double-check that all of your current tickets are in your account. If not, tap the "+" in the top right-hand corner to link tickets.
I'm hopeful we have been successful in confirming that you are all set for your visit next week! While the official holiday season does not kick off until November 14th, you will start to see some seasonal touches throughout the parks, including snow-capped turrets on Sleeping Beauty Castle! You'll also be able to enjoy some of the very special limited-time festivities for the 70th anniversary from
Tapestry of Happiness,
World of Color Happiness!, and even
Walt Disney: A Magical Life, where you can hear and share hopes and dreams from Walt himself!
I'm wishing you magic during your visit next week, Rory. If you have any more questions or need another tip or two, we are always here for you at
planDisney.
