    Can I ship items from my Animal Kingdom Lodge location to my home if I purchased the items from Magic Kingdom and Epcot?

    Hi there Lisa, and welcome to planDisney!

    It sounds like you might know the feeling of taking advantage of all of the magical merchandise locations at Walt Disney World Resort, as well as perhaps the not-as-magical dilemma of bringing it all home. Over the past year I've stayed at several Disney Resort Hotels throughout my planDisney research and have conducted a few tests of my own as far as shipping packages out from wherever we stay and here's what I can share with you:

    • During our most recent stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Cast Members were happy to ship home purchases that we had made at all of the theme parks. Depending on what it is and who you speak with, we were helped by both the Cast Members at the Front Desk with our packages as well as at Zawadi Marketplace. I noticed fellow guests doing the same with their lightsabers and droids to plush toys and princess gowns, but I recommend asking whenever you make any purchase whether the item can be shipped, as there were certain things that I noticed they were unable to accept, such as popcorn buckets.
    • Always keep your original receipts handy as the Cast Members will request these from you. I also think it's handy to have the destination address handy and written out clearly for them to copy, just to reduce the chances of any mistakes but they will often confirm with you afterward either way. (It appears that they use different shipping services and providers across the Disney Resort Hotels but in my experience, our most recent shipments were sent via UPS.)
