When can you sign up for BBB on a cruise?

Ahoy, Linda! Thanks for bringing your question over to planDisney about Disney Cruise Line’s transformative Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (BBB) experiences for kids.

Every member of the Disney fleet offers a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique onboard where Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices are ready to transform your little prince or princess with the waive of a magic wand and a few hands-on tricks of the trade, like hairstyling, costumes, makeup, and more! Whether your princess needs a dress worthy of a royal ball or your prince is looking to gear up for an adventure at sea, you will find a variety of packages ready to meet your needs. Appointments are available for children between the ages of 3 and 12, who must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older during the entire experience.

You can start making reservations once your cruise balance is paid in full and your advance booking window opens, which is determined by your Castaway Club membership level or status as a concierge guest. If you are a first-time guest, then the advance booking window opens 75 days prior to sail date, but the earliest advance booking window opens 130 days prior to sail date for concierge guests. To determine your exact advance booking window, click on the “Already Booked” tab at the top of the main website, then select the option that says “My Reservations.” You will be able to see your cruise information and there will be a box on the right labeled “Cruise Activities” that specifies the date that you can start booking.

On the date that your advance booking window opens, you can begin booking activities as the clock strikes midnight Eastern Time (EST) either online or through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointments fall under the “Onboard Fun” category and you can see availability for the length of your entire cruise. Space is extremely limited and appointments are made on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to book your child’s appointment as soon as your advance booking window opens for the best availability. If you are unable to make an advance reservation for any reason, you can always check onboard your ship on embarkation day to see if any spots are still open.

Disney Cruise Line is where magic meets the sea and, as Fairy Godmother taught us, the thingamabob that does the job is Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo. I’m sure that whatever experience you decide to book, the Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices will create lasting memories for the youngest members of your sailing party. Happy sailing!

Bonus Tip: If your sailing includes Pirate Night, then be on the lookout for Pirate League packages exclusively available at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique that are only scheduled on Pirate Party Nights. There are a variety of packages available for the littlest buccaneers to join in the pirate fun with costumes, makeup, and accessories.
