Smoking area near the Edison in Disney springs, and is there seating, if ao how much?

    Hi ya, Maurice.

Welcome to planDisney. We are happy to meet you and are here to help answer your questions.

The easiest way to find the nearest smoking areas is by using the My Disney Experience mobile app to help navigate to a location near you. What you will want to do is open up the app and tap on the magnifying glass icon. This is the one that is to the right of the center plus sign. This icon will open up the search feature. In the search box, type “Designated Smoking Areas”. From there, you have the option to "Find a Location" or click on the option that says, “Get Directions.” The Get Directions tab will give you step-by-step directions to the nearest smoking location.

I did take a look at the map and saw that the closest designated smoking area to The Edison seems to be the Orange Garage location. I do recall seeing a bench or two in other designated smoking areas, but have found that most seem to be standing areas. While you are in Disney Springs, I encourage you to take advantage of the map feature to help navigate you to other locations as you explore the area. I also highly recommend stopping by Gideon’s Bakehouse for a sweet treat. I usually take one to-go for my travels back home as they hold up pretty well in my backpack of things.

Maurice, I hope this has helped answer your question so that you can find the different designated smoking areas around Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any other questions, or if there’s anything else we can do to help, please let us know!

    Enjoy,

    Shantel
