With your arrival date, you’re just in time to welcome the Year of the Horse during the
Lunar New Year celebration happening over at California Adventure. Indulge in a variety of
scrumptious delights, from a blend of Korean flavors in the Spicy Pork Belly Grilled Cheese at Pym Test Kitchen to the Phở Dip at Lucky 8 Lantern, which echoes the flavors of a cozy bowl of Vietnamese phở. Don’t forget to get ahead of the game with a mobile order of the Hotteok-Inspired Mickey-shaped Waffles at Schmoozie’s. There was a day during my last visit when they were sold out due to their popularity! After washing it all down with a Soju Cocktail Flight from Red Dragon Spice Traders, find a spot to watch Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession! The costumes and dancing alone are simply breathtaking bringing honor to us all from Hollywood Land to Paradise Gardens.

Celebrate Soulfully, an awe-inspiring showcase of experiences that honors Black heritage and culture through food, music, and art. In fact, on the day of your arrival, the first night of
Celebrate Gospel is happening at the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage. The air will be filled with uplifting gospel music by wonderful choirs and artists taking the stage. If you happen to head back to the parks the following day, you’ll be able to catch Grammy Award-winning gospel legend Hezekiah Walker!
I could go on and on about how much there is to do for Celebrate Soulfully in the parks. I highly recommend reading the section titled
Vanguards and Visionaries: Part of Celebrate Soulfully. These remarkable individuals are part of the Heritage Trail spanning across both parks to celebrate their incredible legacies, powerful stories that contribute to the rich history of Black culture through a variety of uplifting experiences that the entire family can enjoy.
