Hello, Caitie!
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I'm excited to hear about your upcoming visit and love that you're considering
Memory Maker for your vacation. As an Annual Passholder, I make sure to include the Memory Maker upgrade every time I renew so I can "say cheese" to my heart's content at locations all over Walt Disney World Resort. These photos are always my favorite vacation souvenirs and have been used for holiday cards as far back as I can remember.
Whether you're hoping to capture family photos in front of iconic park landmarks, giggle at your on-ride photos from
select attractions, or look back on magical Character interactions, you're sure to be thrilled with all your photo memories. I visited with my daughter last weekend, and we especially loved all the
Magic Shots at EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, so be sure to ask Disney PhotoPass photographers if they have any magic up their sleeves when you're ready to pose.
As you've seen, Memory Maker Advance must be purchased at least 3 days before activation to take advantage of the discounted price. I understand that your first park day is scheduled for Tuesday, so you're smart to be sure your purchase will meet that 3-day advance window. The fine print states, "If Memory Maker is purchased at the advance purchase price, any photos taken within 3 days of (or prior to) the date Memory Maker is purchased are not included and must be purchased separately." I wanted to be certain you'll get all your photo memories, so I reached out to a Cast Member for clarification.
I spoke with Thatcher via the online chat feature, and he indicated that purchasing today would include images captured starting Tuesday. I double-checked about any time restrictions, and he shared that as long as you complete your purchase today, photos would be included beginning at 6 am Tuesday (plenty of time for your projected arrival at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park).
I hope this news gets you smiling and camera-ready for your visit! If you have any additional questions in the meantime, please come back and let us know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
