How exciting that you're planning a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth right after the start of the New Year. What a fantastic way to kick off 2026. I truly cannot think of a better way to start the year. I also really love that you're planning a split stay between
Bay Lake Tower and
Pop Century Resort. Split stays are such a great strategy, and my family does them quite often because it really does feel like you're getting two vacations in one. You get to experience the unique atmosphere, amenities, and perks of each resort, which make the trip feel extra special.
Transferring your luggage from your first resort to your second is actually very easy. On the morning you check out of Bay Lake Tower, simply bring your bags to
Bell Services and let them know you'd like your luggage transferred to Pop Century. They'll be more than happy to take care of the process for you, allowing you to head straight to the theme parks and enjoy your day without worrying about your bags. Later, when you arrive at Pop Century, you can stop by Bell Services to pick up your luggage, or at that time, you may request that they be delivered directly to your room for added convenience.
As a reminder, because you're staying at a Disney Resort, you're able to purchase your
Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days prior to your check-in date. You are able to do this right on your
My Disney Experience app at 7:00 AM Eastern Time.
It looks like your visit will line up perfectly with the beginning of the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! I hope you'll have some time to explore and take it all in. This colorful festival celebrates visual, culinary, and performing arts, with stunning displays, creative food studios, live entertainment, and interactive experiences throughout EPCOT. It's a wonderful way to add even more fun to your visit!
