Hi Julie and welcome to planDisney!
Your visit to Walt Disney World is getting closer and closer. I always think that once you reach 60 days out, the final countdown has begun. Happy days!
My family will also be visiting Walt Disney World in August and are excitedly counting down the days until we arrive, as I am sure you are, too.
As time is of the essence, let's get straight into answering your question.
These are the steps you need to follow in order to link your Resort Reservation in the My Disney Experience App:-
1/ Download the
My Disney Experience App2/ Click on the "≡" (hamburger) symbol in the bottom right hand corner of the home screen
3/ Click on "Future Plans"
4/ Click on "Link to Account" underneath where it says "Missing a reservation?"
5/ Click on the "Type ID" tab at the top of the page
6/ Enter your Confirmation Number and the lead bookers last name in the "Resort Reservation" section.
This should successfully link your Resort Reservation which, in turn, will allow you to make Advance Dining Reservations for the first 10-nights of your stay, once you reach 60 days out.
Just be sure to enter your unique Disney reference which, depending on who you booked with, might be different to your order number. If you are in doubt at all, I would recommend contacting the Company who you have made your booking with, to confirm the reference required to link your booking on the Walt Disney World website/App.
If you are still struggling to link your reservation once you reach 60 days out, you can make your dining reservations by calling the UK
Dining Reservations telephone line - lines open at 12:00noon.
If you are wanting to book any
Enchanting Extras, the easiest way to make reservations for these, from here in the UK, is via the "Chat With Us" option on the My Disney Experience App. Reservations can be made this way starting from 11:00am UK time, 60 days in advance.
Top Tip - You can find the "Chat With Us" option on the My Disney Experience App by clicking on the "≡" (hamburger) symbol in the bottom right hand corner of the home screen and scrolling down to the Help & Feedback section.
I hope that this information has been of help, Julie. Please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney if we can be of any further assistance with the planning of your trip. You can even
ask me a question directly if you would like a UK perspective on things.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
