Hi Tiana! Welcome to planDisney!
Let the countdown begin to a successful cheer competition week and a visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort. My daughter started in cheer a few years ago and is looking forward to the year she earns an invitation to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Let's dive into your question and help you set up an unforgettable trip!
Tiana, if you only plan to visit the parks for one day, you can certainly purchase a
one-day park ticket with the Park Hopper Option added. You can do so directly on the Walt Disney World website and have your park ticket within moments. By adding the
Park Hopper Option, you will not need to select a specific park you plan to visit on this day and will have the option to start your day at any park you decide that morning.
I suggest comparing the cost of this ticket with the 2-day Park Hopper ticket offered through the third party. While I'm unaware of the cost of these tickets, it's possible that they may be sold at a discounted rate. If this is the case, it may be a better value and allow you the opportunity to visit the parks on multiple days.
Since you'll have the option to hop around to multiple parks, having a solid plan in place will help you maximize your day. With countless
attractions and experiences at all four parks, it's impossible to fit it all in. I would make a list of your must-dos at the parks you plan to visit to ensure that you get to each of these. This has worked for my family over the years and allows everyone to have a hand in the planning process.
Tiana, I hope you have a magical visit, and best of luck to the athletes competing in the competition. And remember, you're "Almost There!"
