Welcome to planDisney, James! Cue the holiday music because we are halfway to the holidays!
Oh, what fun! I can’t wait for you to board the Disney Fantasy and see the gorgeous atrium adorned with garland and a beautiful sparkling Christmas tree. What a wonderful surprise you have planned for your granddaughter.
Very Merry Time Cruises are my favorite way to celebrate the holidays. There’s a sleigh full of magic aboard. I’m happy to share the travel documentation needed for your merry celebration.
You can sail with an Original US Passport Card for closed-loop sailings as long as you are a US Citizen. All documents must be valid for the entire length of the voyage. During online check-in, you will submit a picture of everyone’s Passport Card and present this documentation at the port upon arrival. I always recommend checking the
Passport and Travel Documentation page on the Disney Cruise Line website for the most up-to-date information.
You’ll also need to bring with you the
Authorization for Minor to Travel without a Parent or Legal Guardian form. This form must be completed for minors traveling without a parent or legal guardian and needs to be notarized by a Notary Public. A Port Representative will ask for the signed form upon arrival at the port.
I hope you have a winter wonderland of fun at sea! Even though it’s ninety degrees in Florida today, I have my Christmas sweater and cup of hot cocoa standing by as I anxiously await
Disney Parks Blog Halfway to the Holidays special announcements, sneak peeks, and holiday treats starting this week! Follow along as they share new delights for Disney Cruise Line. I can’t wait!
James, please send any additional questions our way. We are happy to provide a stocking full of tips for your cruise.
