Hi Nicole,
Welcome to planDisney! Staying at two resorts during one trip (a split stay) is a great way to double the fun on a Disney World vacation. My family often books a split stay so we can enjoy the theming, restaurants and amenities at multiple Disney Resort Hotels. On our most recent trip, we were able to take advantage of Extended Evening Hours on our check-in day. This allowed us to enjoy EPCOT with fewer crowds and much shorter wait times for attractions. We had a blast!Since you'll be staying at a Deluxe Disney Resort, you will be able to take advantage of Extended Evening Hours on your check-in day. Once the Extended Evening Hours begin, you'll be asked to scan your MagicBand, Key to the World card or Disney MagicMobile Pass to confirm you are indeed a Deluxe Resort Guest. If you are planning to hop to the park with the Extended Evening Hours, you can arrive anytime once the event has begun (you don't have to be there right at the start). Be sure to check out the Resort Activity Guide when you arrive at your Deluxe Resort Hotel. My daughters love spending time in the Community Hall doing crafts, playing games or even watching a movie when we have a non-park day. The Guide lists all activities offered during your stay, from Campfires to poolside games to Movies Under the Stars. Some activities are free, while others have a small fee. I hope this information helps with your planning, Nicole. Have a wonderful trip and have fun exploring the Disney Resorts! If you have any other questions, please visit us at planDisney - we'd love to help!Happy planning,Candace
