Hi Trent, and welcome to planDisney! I love the perks that come with those specially ticketed nighttime events, plus the evening is such a magical time to be inside the theme parks. So let’s see what events were available this year and when we might find out about 2026 dates.
Star Wars Nite is part of an incredible lineup of evening events at
Disneyland in California. In addition to this galactic party, this year’s
Disneyland After Dark events also included Pride Nite, Sweethearts’ Nite, and 90s Nite. As a big Star Wars fan, I really wish they’d bring Star Wars Nite to
Disney World!
Now going over to the East Coast, let’s talk about what’s available at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Villains After Hours was a nighttime event at Magic Kingdom that felt like a mashup of a regular Disney After Hours event and my favorite holiday party,
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! While there aren’t any Villains After Hours events currently scheduled for 2025, my fingers are crossed that Disney brings it back in time for your trip in 2026. This year there have been many
Disney After Hours events in Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT, as well as
Disney H2O Glow After Hours events at Typhoon Lagoon. Similar to Villains After Hours, you can also enjoy lower attraction wait times and ice cream, popcorn, and select beverages at Disney After Hours events. Is there anything better than shorter queues and unlimited Mickey ice cream bars?!
I’d recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for more information on next year’s event lineup. Last year Disney World’s After Hours events were announced in August, but the year before the dates were revealed in October. There’s no way to know for sure when the information will drop this year, but we’ll hopefully get more details in late summer or early fall.
Speaking of villains, there’s something brand new that recently opened in Hollywood Studios.
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After brings together our favorite Disney baddies for a show filled with music, mischief, and mayhem. The audience even gets to vote with applause to determine which villain will close out the show!
I’m wishing you safe travels to Florida next March and hope you have the most magical holiday at Disney World. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to visit us again at planDisney!
