Hi there, I would like to make a reservation for Blue Bayou for a party of 7 (my family of 5 plus 2 grandparents). Will I have better luck booking separate reservations and hoping they can seat us together?

Hi Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to send us your question!

Spending time as a family at The Happiest Place on Earth and making magical memories is always special! I love making Advanced Dining Reservations when planning a vacation at the Disneyland Resort, and it's a great way to relax and take a break from the fun. As you're trying to make a dining reservation at Blue Bayou Restaurant, you could definitely try to make two separate reservations for two small groups in hopes of being seated together. Someone else in your travel party will need to make the second reservation. I recommend making a reservation for a table of three and another reservation for a table of four. These combinations will be more likely to be seated together versus five people and two people.

If you will be in Disneyland Park earlier in the day, you might consider stopping by the restaurant to request an adjustment to the seating arrangement of the reservations. There will be a podium where you can ask a Cast Member if it's possible to combine the seatings in one dining party. Before you arrive, be sure to download the Disneyland Mobile App. You will be prompted to check in for your dining reservation approximately ten minutes before your reserved time.

If you have more questions, please stop by planDisney again. We can't wait for you to be our guest, and we would love to help you!

    Wishing you magic,
    Lisa
