We have tickets for mickeys not so scary Halloween party in August. Since we can enter the magic kingdom at 4pm with the party ticket, can we also purchase lightning lane multi or single? Not to use during the event of but to use before event?

Welcome to planDisney, Christine! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. A visit to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in August sounds like a spooktacular idea. You're in for such a fun evening of costumes, candy, characters, and seriously magical vibes!

When it comes to Lightning Lane and your party ticket, here's the scoop: Special event tickets like the one you have for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party aren't eligible for Lightning Lane access. That means if your Halloween Party ticket is the only ticket you're using that day, you won't be able to book or use any Lightning Lanes during those pre-party hours.

But, if you happen to have a regular theme park admission for that day, like a standard ticket to Magic Kingdom or a Park Hopper, you can absolutely use Lightning Lane during the regular park hours, right up until the park officially closes to day guests at 6:00 PM. That gives you a couple of hours to sneak in some attractions before the party really kicks off!

So if you're planning to arrive at 4:00 PM using just your party ticket, you'll still be able to enjoy standby lines and start soaking in the Halloween fun early, but Lightning Lane won't be available to you unless you've also got a daytime admission ticket linked to your account.

I hope that clears things up for you, Christine, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
