I couldn't be happier to see that you're planning a magical adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of the year. With the beautiful holiday decor, fun festivities in full swing, twinkling lights, and the smell of gingerbread in the air, there just seems to be extra pixie dust at
Walt Disney World during the holiday season. And there is no better way to top off the perfect Disney day than with a beautiful and awe-inspiring fireworks spectacular. Let's make sure you don't miss them!
The showtimes for
Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom (my all-time favorite fireworks spectacular!) and
Luminous The Symphony of Us in EPCOT for December have not been released yet. Usually, the showtimes are released 60 days in advance. I recommend keeping an eye on the shows' webpages or the
Hours & Events Calendar on the Walt Disney World website or the My Disney Experience app to see what times the fireworks will take place during your vacation dates as your dining reservation booking window approaches and after, as sometimes, the times can change.
The showtimes for the fireworks have been released through mid-November at this time, and the current showtimes for the fireworks at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT are 9:00 p.m. While this is the typical time for Luminous at EPCOT, sometimes, as we get deeper into the winter months and it gets dark earlier, Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom will take place at an earlier time. And on the flip side, if the park hours are extended, the showtime can sometimes be pushed a little later.
While I don't know the showtimes for December yet, it's usually safe to assume that the fireworks won't take place before 8:00 p.m. When you're making your dinner reservation, just be sure to give yourself enough time to fully enjoy your meal and get to your viewing location at least 30 minutes before showtime to snag a great spot. Now, look up and reach to the sky!
