What time do you need to get to the Fantasmic show at Hollywood Studios?

    Hey there, Jill!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney. Fantasmic! is arguably the best nighttime show at Walt Disney World--from Sorcerer Mickey's spellbinding magic to its Steamboat Willie Riverboat's character showcase, how could anyone not love it? l think that it's great that you're including it on your list of vacation must-dos.

Let's get into what time you should arrive to Hollywood Hills Amphitheater, the home of the Fantasmic! show. Although seating can begin as early as 90 minutes before showtime, I suggest arriving and lining up about 45 minutes to an hour before. At times, depending on the daily crowd level, my family can get some pretty good seats even if we arrive 30 minutes prior. But if you don't want to take any chances on missing out on that perfect spot, the early bird definitely gets the worm. You can find the daily showtimes in the My Disney Experience app on the main page under the Tower of Terror Hollywood Studios icon.

I also recommend securing a prime seat via booking a Fantasmic! Dining Package. With this package, your crew of Mouseketeers can dine at one of four Disney's Hollywood Studios restaurants: 50's Prime Time Cafe, Hollywood Brown Derby, Hollywood & Dine, or Sci-Fi Dine-In. For a set price, you can eat at one of these restaurants at a reserved time during that same day and then arrive to some of the best seats in the house at least 25 minutes before Mickey's magical adventure begins.

AN EXTRA GEM: Make sure to bring your charged MagicBand+ to the show (and other Disney experiences) to see and feel fun, light-up interactions. It's like your own bit of enchantment right on your wrist.

Hollywood Studios is the home of so many thrills beyond Fantasmic! Consider booking a visit to Oga's Cantina for a unique experience in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge or venturing about in Andy's Backyard at Toy Story Land, too. Jill, you are more than welcome to revisit us here at planDisney if you have any other Disney vacation planning questions. See you real soon!

    Magic always,
