My planDisney class had the opportunity to tour Walt’s apartment, and it was exactly what you would expect - pure magic! To hear the expert guides explain how the apartment was organized and decorated, and hear stories involving Walt, his family, and his special guests that took place right where we were standing, was surreal. I hope you get to experience it someday!
Walt’s Main Street Story is the tour that includes a visit to Walt’s apartment. It is not being offered at this time, I’m sorry to say. There is no indication as to when or if it will be offered again. I’d suggest checking regularly for its return by visiting the

Stephanie, I’m sorry that a visit to Walt’s apartment may not happen on your upcoming trip, but a new tour has recently opened that will allow you to walk in Walt’s footsteps.
The Disneyland Railroad Guided Tour explores Walt’s passion for trains. It even includes a ride in the Lilly Belle, the private parlour caboose designed by Walt to host VIPs and dignitaries. This is definitely a similar experience to Walt’s apartment, as you can feel how important this space was to him.
There are many amazing
tours available at Disneyland Resort. These tours give access to exclusive experiences, a wealth of knowledge from expert guides, and a special look at the parks we all love.
When my children were younger, the last stop of every trip to Disneyland was the Disneyland Fire Department on Main Street. While my kids explored the inside and climbed on the fire wagon, it was always a comfort to look up and see the lamp in the window of Walt’s apartment shining and reminding us that Walt is still with us whenever we visit.
