Hello there, Mckinley! Welcome to
planDisney! Thank you so, so much for stopping by with your question.
The good news is that you absolutely can purchase
Lightning Lane Multi Pass while using an
after 2 p.m. ticket. The important thing is making sure that any Lightning Lane reservations you book are scheduled for after 2 p.m., since your ticket won't allow entry into the park before then.
Disney's policy states that Lightning Lane selections, dining reservations,
Mobile Order purchases, and other reservation-based experiences scheduled before 2 p.m. are not valid with that ticket type. If you accidentally make reservations earlier in the day, you won't be able to use them, and unfortunately any associated costs or cancellation penalties would still apply. Those missed reservations are nonrefundable.
Because of that, my biggest recommendation is to be very intentional when selecting your Lightning Lane return times. When you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, simply look specifically for attraction windows that begin at or after 2 p.m. Even if earlier availability appears on the screen, you'll want to skip those options entirely and keep searching until you find return times that fit within your ticket eligibility.
Honestly, I think your safest strategy is to build your whole afternoon and evening around that timing from the start. That way you can enjoy your day stress-free without worrying about accidentally booking something you won't be able to redeem.
Mckinley, with a little planning, your after 2 p.m. ticket will make for a fantastic Disney day filled with attractions, snacks, and nighttime magic. Have a fantastic visit!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
