Hiya, Jabeen! Welcome to planDisney!
Every age is a great age to visit Walt Disney World, but I have some truly delightful memories of vacations from when my kiddos were 4 and 5 years old. Watching them experience the magic for the first time, or at least the first time that they might remember, and seeing the happiness on their faces, is something you will treasure forever.
I like your idea of spending two days at the Magic Kingdom because I did the same thing when my kids were that age. There is so much to see and do at the Magic Kingdom for this age group that you can easily fill up two days if you are actively trying not to overdo it. We would split up the park and tackle a couple of lands each day, but we also had the flexibility to revisit the kids’ newfound favorite attractions on the second day.
As for which other theme parks to visit, it really depends on what your children are interested in. I would start by visiting the
Attractions and Entertainment page and using the filters to see what rides your kids might enjoy. There are filters for ride type, interests, ages, and height, which can be a big help in quickly seeing what each park has to offer your family.
One tip I always like to give parents with young kids is to avoid dinner reservations and to focus on breakfast and lunch if you’d like to do
table service or
character dining. Every child is different, but I’ve found that many kids, especially my own, are starting to enter tired territory by dinner time. Better to have a flexible schedule and the option to go back to your hotel for some pool time if a tantrum seems possible.
I’m sure your family adventure at Walt Disney World will be amazing, Jabeen! Make sure you check out the

Magical travels!
