Jambo Kelly! Welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you are just a few days away from your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of the most breathtaking resorts, especially during sunset on the savanna, so you are in for a wildly unforgettable stay!
When I visit the Walt Disney World Resort, I always like to plan for grocery deliveries, too. It helps with quick and easy breakfasts in the morning before we hurry off to the theme parks! At Animal Kingdom Lodge, you can set your delivery for 2901 Osceola Parkway, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830-8410. Be sure you list the delivery for “Registered Guest (your name)” when you set it up with Walmart. I also always put a note in the delivery instructions that says "Deliver to Bell Services." Upon delivery, Bell Services will hold your groceries for you until you arrive at the resort that day. They can also refrigerate cold items, based upon space availability. It is important to note, however, that Bell Services will not accept age-restricted items, such as alcohol. You can still have those delivered, but you will need to meet the delivery driver to show your ID.
Another place you may find convenient is
Zawadi Marketplace at Animal Kingdom Lodge. They sell sundries and snacks, and you should also be able to find a variety of grocery staples like milk, cereal, and more, which are perfect if you need to grab some extra essentials. If you haven’t already done so, also consider booking an advance dining reservation at
Boma - Flavors of Africa or
Sanaa. These are by far two of my favorite table service restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort, and they offer incredible dining experiences without ever leaving the savanna! I'll be visiting Boma in just a few weeks and
can't wait! Don't skip the Zebra Domes!
