Greetings, D, and welcome to planDisney! You'll be traveling across the pond to
Walt Disney World Resort any moment now, so let's look at the acceptable forms of identification you will need to pick up your theme park tickets and more.
During my conversation with a helpful Cast Member, they emphasized bringing physical copies of your passport and driving license when collecting your tickets and
MagicBands. Just so you know, photocopies or digital images on your mobile device may not be accepted. It's always better to be over-prepared than under-prepared!
For a seamless experience, I recommend visiting the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs upon your arrival. This way, you can take care of your ticket needs without carrying your passport around the theme park.
If you're staying at a
Disney Resort Hotel, you can utilize the complimentary in-room safe to ensure the security of your passport for the rest of your visit. Please remember to take photos of all relevant passport pages, and I suggest you carry your physical license to the parks.
One of my favorite spots for an adult beverage is
Oga's Cantina at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The Fuzzy Tauntaun is refreshing and unique! If you plan to imbibe, bring your
driver's license and a copy of your passport for any lounge visits.
D, I hope your upcoming visit is full of fabulous fun! Please
stop by planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
