I wanted to know What Theme is for the Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and What kind of Activities for this Resort and How Many rooms can we sleep and Food Court and Shop and Movie by the stars at Disney's Art of Animation Resort?

    Hello there Jeannette,

Welcome to planDisney! What a fun question... I adore everything about Disney's Art of Animation Resort! You will find three different themes to the Family Suites at this resort, with each being distinctive and wonderful. It may be hard for you to choose!

Disney's Art of Animation Family Suite styles include:

    • The Lion King - The Lion King section has some really fun areas for kids to play and explore.
    • Finding Nemo - The Finding Nemo section features the amazing, primary feature "Big Blue Pool", along with a poolside bar and refillable mug soda station.
    • Cars - My personal favorite. A stroll through the Cars section, and Cozy Cone Pool area, feels almost like a visit to Radiator Springs.
I recommend looking at the room photos on Disney World's website in order to get a feel for the vibe and decor found in each of these three types of suites. Under the "suite" section, click "view photos" on each to get a preview. These rooms sleep up to 6 adults.

No matter which suite you reserve... as a Disney Resort guest, you will be free to roam about the entire resort grounds. And you absolutely should!

This resort's quick-service food court Landscape of Flavors is terrific, with plenty of seating, tasty food options, and a self-service beverage station where you can help yourself to unlimited refills when you purchase a resort-refillable mug. I love the convenience of this dining location, and it stays open fairly late... which is awesome when you need a bedtime Mickey Ice Cream Bar snack!

And last but not least, there are several free activities offered at this family-friendly resort. And yes, watching Disney Movies Under the Stars is one of my kid's favorites! Ask for an activities schedule at the front desk, so you don't miss out on any of the fun during your stay. I'm also including a planDisney video below that features some awesome ideas from panelists of fun, free things to do at the Disney Resorts. Be sure to check it out!

Jeannette, I hope this helps you plan a practically perfect vacation at Disney's Art of Animation Resort! If you have anything else we can help with, be sure to send your question in to planDisney. We're happy to help!
