Hey Kaylee,
Welcome to planDisney! If you're planning to bring furry friends to
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, you've come to the right place. I'm happy to help you with this great question.
According to the Walt Disney World website, guests staying at The Cabins at Fort Wilderness are welcome to bring up to 2 dogs per cabin. There are some
general pet policies that you'll need to be familiar with, so be sure to read these prior to your stay. Additionally, the resort will require proof of vaccination
as noted by my fellow panelist Korliss here, and you'll definitely want to read up on the
Services for Guests with Service Animals. Kaylee, I called the resort today and spoke with a cast member who confirmed that the 2-dog capacity at The Cabins also extends to service dogs.
I know that's not the best news, but you do have another option so don't worry! Walt Disney World Resort also has additional accommodations for dogs and other pets at the
Best Friends Pet Hotel. This resort for pets offers peace of mind to resort guests in need of a safe place to stay for their beloved furry friends. Best Friends offers overnight and daytime accommodations and pets are well cared for at this home away from home for your best pals, so you can enjoy your vacation knowing they're in good paws.
Kaylee, I hope this information is helpful. We here at planDisney are always willing to help if you have additional planning needs. We'll see ya real soon!
Your pal,
Sakinah
