Hi Onna!
Welcome to planDisney!
While this is subject to change, there have been a lot of fun Halloween activities at the
Disney World resorts in past years. Activities offered have included things like trick-or-treating, costume parades, fun crafts and games, dance parties, a Halloween-themed Movie Under the Stars, and more. It's good to note that some activities may require a small fee.
In my experience, these activities aren’t announced in advance, but you’ll find a list of them at your resort during your stay. When you check in, one of the Cast Members will be happy to let you know where to find that information if anything is being offered.
Of course, the biggest Halloween celebration at Disney World is
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. At the time of writing this, the party on October 31st is sold out, unfortunately. But there are still tickets available for October 30, 2025, if you’re interested! If you purchase a ticket to the party, you can enter the park as early as 4 PM.
My boys still talk about how much fun they had at that party! Between the shorter queues for attractions, incredible entertainment, trick-or-treating trails, and lots of character meet and greets, it could be a great way to kick off the holiday and your vacation. Then you could relax at the resort and enjoy all the fun activities the next day on Halloween!
It sounds like you’ve planned your trip perfectly to take in the Halloween decorations and then see the parks begin to transform for Christmas. The
holidays at Disney World add even more magic than usual, and I just love that time of year!
I hope you have the best trip!
Let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan.
