Can I wear non-transparent wings to Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party? It doesn't specifically say I cannot and the wings I currently have are cloth.

    Pixie Dusted Greetings, Carly!

Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for flying over to us. I’m happy to hear that you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort very soon. It’s even more exciting to hear that you’ll be visiting and enjoying an evening celebrating all things haunting with a night at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I also have a party ticket, and I’m hoping my work schedule doesn’t interfere! I need to go Trick-or-Treating and see all my favorite Pals in their Halloween best.

Carly, I did check out the costuming guidelines, and it says “Acceptable accessories include: transparent wings, plastic light sabers. toy swords, and tutus.” Since it is specific in mentioning transparent wings and not wings alone, I recommend leaving your wings behind. It seems that only transparent wings will be an acceptable accessory. I have seen a group of fairies in passing, and they had colored transparent wings that coordinated with their outfits, so that might be a good option for you.

You also want to consider staying comfortable and having a spot to place them when enjoying attractions like Tron. So keep that in mind when planning your final touches to your costume. I also recommend considering renting a locker to store all your treats and anything else you may not want to carry during the party. And don’t forget to take a bunch of photos throughout the evening too!

Have the best time flying around and enjoying this spooktacular event. If there’s anything else we can help with, don’t be frightened to ask.

    Boo To You!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
